本課程定位於生產基層活動，受訓對象為生產事業中基層員工，目的解決現場各種浪費、不合理、不均勻(不平衡)、無彰法(亂)等問題，最終提升效率/品質及降低各類成本和費用，同時可提升中基層素質和向心力，並發掘隱藏的優秀人才。

課程從基層活動的認知開始，進入基層品質改善小組活動(架構計10步驟)，因解決問題需要工具和方法，因此課程加入中基層必要的工具和方法計7節次，但因範圍廣泛，無法深入練習，於此只做綜觀性介紹，點到為止，最後舉成功案例發表，供參考學習，因此本課規劃4大區域，即：｢生產基層活動認知｣、｢品質改善小組運作｣、｢改善工具方法簡介｣、｢成功案例｣。

本課程為顧問專案內訓教材之一，通常依顧問專案需求，和專案性質規劃和推行QIT 活動，是眾多顧問專案內容活動的小專案，至今其成效沒有不超出預期的，同時也發現中基層隱藏可敬的優秀人才，值得栽培，甚至有案例座直升機，成為企業重要主幹，此為意想不到的收穫。
