Have you ever wondered why some people are such excellent communicators? Some professionals seem to have a way to engage and understand you and you feel great after you talk to them. You remember your interaction with them and wistfully think that you would love to be like them but believe this is not possible. They have some innate intelligence or superpower which you will never attain.

What if l told you that this super power is just a skill which you can also learn?

Well, it's true.

The 'Gold Standard' communication technique for addiction treatment is called Motivational Interviewing (MI).

A key component of this is something called Reflective Listening.

It is also one of the cornerstones of Conflict Resolution.

The reason for it's inclusion in these areas is due to how dramatically effective it can be. You do not have to be a psychologist to learn this skill thoroughly.

Anyone in the area of health, in the area of sales or who is having ongoing conflict with a particular person can learn the skills.

If they are applied as presented in my beautifully simple model, they can yield incredibly dramatic and quick results. It is unlikely that you will get a simpler explanation of what can be a complex technique, anywhere else.
