This course is all about preparing for the 2021 Pascal contest for Grade 9, and what you can do to get into top 15% or even top 1%. I am going to show you 3 strategies in achieving your goals of top 70%, top 15% and top 1%. On top of that, you will learn detailed and actionable steps to get the numbers of questions 100% correct that correspond to your goal. By learning this course, you will have the little-known "secret weapons" to think creatively to get to the correct answer faster than the usual ways, so that you will have the time needed to get the required number of questions correct, in order to reach your goal!

First, let’s briefly review some highlights of the Pascal contest:

1.First, it is an Internationally recognized contest. It is developed and administered by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing.

2.Second, the test Dates for 2021 are:

•Tuesday, February 23, 2021 (in N. America and S. America)

•Wednesday, February 24, 2021 (outside of N. America and S. America)

3. Last, total time for the contest is 60 minutes

Some Instructions:

1.Most calculating devices are allowed. Check official site for details

2.The contest is Multiple choices only. Only one of the answers A, B, C, D, or E is correct.

3.Scoring:

1.Part A are easy questions: 5 points per question x 10 questions = 50 points

2.Part B are medium level questions: 6 points per question x 10 questions = 60 points

3.Part C are hard questions: 8 points per question x 5 questions = 40 points

4.Total will be 150 points

4.Some IMPORTANT notes

1.There is no penalty for an incorrect answer.

Each unanswered question is worth 2 points, to a maximum of 10 unanswered questions. So you would have a maximum of 20 points for leaving 10 questions blank. How lovely! I will tell you how to use these bonus points later in this video.
