Is your child showing an interest in reading? Do they know their letters and sounds? Then I am here to help them on their journey to becoming a reader. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I have lots of experience teaching children how to read. We will begin with learning to read sight words. Sight words are the words that appear most frequently in our reading and writing. They are often words that are difficult to sound out and therefore simply need to be memorized. By easily recognizing these words, young readers are much more likely to approach a text with confidence. In this online course, we will focus on 5 new pre-primer words each week. Your child will feel like the class is happening live, as I will use many engaging activities to help them master their words.

There will be 5 video lessons in each section that will use a different strategy to help your child learn the weekly words.
