Covert Modern Web App into Mobile App with Capacitor

Capacitor provides a native mobile runtime and API layer for web apps. It does not come with any specific set of UI controls. You convert your new web app or existing modern web app (Angular, React, Vue, or using HTML, CSS &JavaScript) into Cross Platform Mobile App like Android, iOS or Progressive Web App.

Ionic Framework

Ionic is an open source mobile toolkit for building high quality, cross-platform native and web app faster with a single code base, running everywhere with JavaScript and the Web.

Capacitor Plugin

Capacitor automatically generates JavaScript hooks on the client, so most plugins only need to use Swift/Obj-C for iOS and/or Java/Kotlin for Android. Of course, adding custom JavaScript for a plugin is also possible.

Apache Cordova

Apache Cordova is an open source native runtime that allows developers to build native mobile apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Similar to Capacitor, Ionic’s own native runtime, Cordova allows developers to access native device features, such as camera, keyboard, and geolocation, using a system of plugins.
