This course gives you an overview on how to create a smart template and also helps you to get started on your own personalized smart template.

A smart template can be used to control your parameters, your iProperties, your model, your size of your design and your property information in a pre - modeled part. A smart template can also be used as a default project template to control your parameters, your iProperties and your model. It can adjust the size, the form, materials, and so on of your model in one single Form. It can also control all your property information such as your description or any other custom or default iProperty information in one location. This will save you a lot of time and effort.

We will look at how to create a custom template. In this custom template, we will discuss how to use and add new parameters, how to use and create custom iProperties, how to transfer parameters to custom iProperties, how to use and create iLogic rules, how to use and create Forms and how to combine everything together.

In order to be able to understand this smart template course, you would need to have at least some basic knowledge of Inventor.
