The course is on Introductory Cosmology beneficial for the PG and UG students. The ideas on the beginning of the universe will be discussed. The course will deal with some interesting topics like CMB radiation, Big Bang Nucleosynthesis, dark matter, dark energy, etc. The course is divided into 7 lectures comprising short videos for better understanding.

At the outset, in the very first video, an introduction to the history of the development of cosmology is discussed. You will be introduced to the classical idea of the Friedmann Equation. Universe has always been a mystery and since our childhood, at some point in time, we do have a lot of fascination about the universe and its origin. So whether you are interested in cosmology/astronomy or it is a part of your academics, this course should help both ways.

The course is crisp and gives an effective introduction to the field. This course will help to take up advanced courses on Cosmology. The entire course is mostly based on a qualitative understanding and minimum mathematical derivations are used.
