Communication is as old as human race or even may be before that. Communication has its origin from Latin word ‘communicare’ which means ‘to share’. One can’t imagine human existence without communication. It is proven fact that to grow and build relationships effective communication is must.

This course on Communication Skills will help participants acquire the necessary skills to handle day to-day managerial responsibilities, such as making speeches, controlling one-to-one communication, enriching group activities and processes, writing letters and emails, etc. Communication is a tool that helps is developing relationship with colleagues, subordinates, superiors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders. Inability to communicate effectively can become a major impediment in the career progression of any professional.

This course will cove the following modules

First being Basics of Communication, here fundamentals, importance of communication, communication process will be discussed.

Second module will focus on Barriers of Communication. If we understand the root cause of problem rectifying and finding solution is not difficult. Similarly, if you have an idea of barriers with little practice these hurdles can be removed resulting into impactful communication.

Third module will address Verbal Communication which includes both Oral and Written Communication. Right words for the right audience are very crucial in effective communication.

Fourth module will cover non-verbal communication. Remember 90% of our communication is non-verbal. Only 10% in entire communication is use of words.

Fifth module will help you in mastering listening skills. Generally, we don’t care about listening our thrust is on Verbal and Non-verbal communication but believe me listening is most important in communication.

Sixth module will prepare you for persuasive communication. In this competitive world we are always persuading receiver to buy our ideas or thoughts.

Seventh and the last module will talk about Public Speaking.
