IELTS General Writing Course consists of 6 concise lessons to guide you through key aspects of successful writing. We have designed the course to ensure you maximise your IELTS Writing score by meeting requirements in all 4 assessment criteria.

Task Achievement. You will learn how to choose the correct register/tone (formal, informal, semi-formal), study corresponding features of each one, and ultimately improve in write different types of letters. You will also practise writing proper size letters within the timeframe, addressing all parts of the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion. You will be provided with easy-to-follow organization pattern that will enable the reader to follow the flow of ideas in your letters.

Lexical Resource. A range of appropriate vocabulary will be provided for you to remember and use with different types of letters.

Grammatical Resource and Accuracy. A variety of simple, complex and compound grammatical structures will increase your IELTS score if applied correctly in writing.

In this IELTS General Writing Course by The Green Academy we will also analyse common mistakes in writing letters and learn how to avoid them. After each lesson, you will be offered some hands-on activities in the Workbook to practise, based on the lesson materials. It is always a good idea to recap on your Workbook before your exam.
