This academic vocabulary course will help you understand reading and listening passages better. By enriching your vocabulary, the course will increase your chances of comprehending texts and recordings and getting the score you desire.

The course will not only be useful for your reading and listening skills but also for your writing and speaking.

What will you learn?

Here you will learn new vocabulary for a range of topics, from technology to art and tourism.

You will see how words are pronounced

both in American and British English. Example sentences will be given for each new word so that you are able to incorporate them into your own writing and speaking. You will also be provided with other forms of words, such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs.

Course structure

Each lesson starts with a video lecture where you’re presented with new vocabulary, its pronunciation, word forms, and example sentences. Videos range from about 10 to 30 minutes in length. After every video, there are quizzes to check how well you remember the new words.
