After leaving Harvard University, Frost began a Henry Thoreau mode of living where he tried his hands at many different things as he tried to decide what he wanted to do with his life. It was during this time that Frost began to rekindle his passion for writing and taking on numerous different writing projects, including becoming the editor of the local newspaper.
Funny how many of us think the best writers did nothing but write their entire lives!
