More about Rachel:
Rachel qualified as physiotherapist from the University of South Australia in 1997. While at university, Rachel began to explore the benefits of Pilates in the dance population, having done 18 years of classical ballet herself.
After having worked in Outback Australia for Broken Hill Hospital and Royal Flying Doctors Service, Rachel moved to Cambridge, UK where she gained her accreditation as a Pilates Trained Practitioner. When she moved back to Adelaide in July 2002, Rachel opened Physio Pilates Proactive which continues to operate in Stirling, South Australia.
Rachel Combe is recognised as one of Australia’s most qualified, experienced and passionate Pilates instructors. Her formal training includes the Polestar Pilates certification qualification (Rehabilitation and Mat); Certificate IV in Pilates Instruction; and Diploma in Professional Pilates Practice. She regularly travels interstate and overseas to ensure that she has access to the most current and progressive Pilates knowledge. She is considered a leader in the Pilates/Physiotherapy field and regularly speaks and mentors within the industry. She is also Vice President of the SA branch of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Chairperson of the SA Physiotherapy Business Australia Committee and on the Physiotherapy Education and Training Advisory Panel at the University of South Australia.
