If you want to pursue an academic career, it is importantbe able to write and publish journal papers. This course includes the parts of a journal article: Introduction, Literature review, Methods, Results, Discussion & Conclusion. This course deals wtih the process of writing a paper into the key steps, and provides links to additional resources available. The goal is to give you a good head start on writing your next scientific paper, while providing specific places to find more detailed advice. Don't wait for the ideal phrases to come to you before you begin composing. Remember that everyone produces a poor first draft, but it provides you with something to work with as you go toward writing your final paper.
