Intended for those who are completely new to the instrument, you will learn the basics, including the ability to read and play a piece of music.No prior musical knowledge necessary.

The harp is unlike any instrument you will ever play. Nothing makes you feel more connected to the music you are playing than an instrument that requires you to provide an extended hug to play it!

In this course you will learn how to find a harp, care for your harp, tune your harp, proper posture and hand placement, what the colored strings mean, how to switch keys, how to work the levers, and how to produce the best sound from your harp.

You will learn different exercises and practices you can do to strengthen your playing and ability to play faster and more accurately.

You will also learn musical basics, including how to read sheet music, rhythm, and how to find the key you need to be in.

By the end of this course, you will be able to play a piece of music on the harp even having never picked up a harp before!
