Electrical Motor

This Module consists of three Lessons:

In the first Lesson you willbe introduced with the widely used DC motor; Brushed DC motor. Now a days DC motor are widely used in Industries, in Commercial and in Domestic. Twenty One centuries hobbyist used DC motor for different application; such as to drive drone propeller, to actuate different parts of robots.

In the second lesson you will study construction and operation of DC motors. This lesson also discus the function of each dc motor components.

In the third lesson, We will discuss the three types of brushed dc motor such as, series wound, shunt wound, and compound wound DC motor. this lesson also discus Speed torque characteristics of each dc motor.

In general in this lesson you will study different characteristics of DC motors.; Dear trainees, in order to select specific motor for a given applications, You should know characteristic, limitation and feature of a given motor.

This lesson also discus Brushless dc motor, under this lesson you will learn construction, operation and application of brushless dc motor.

On the next Lessons; Lesson 4, Lesson 5, and Lesson 6 You will study:

• Reversing the direction of DC motor

• Speed control of DC motor

• Basic DC motor maintenance and troubleshooting technique
