The course contains the most important information for beginners to start with:
It consists of 8 sections divided into small lectures (from 4 to 6) per section.
Each section deals with a particular topic, grammar rules, and a set of useful phrases.
You will have reading and grammar exercises, dialogues, and translation exercises based on the grammar and vocabulary you have learned.
Some of the videos contain exercises, which you can do online; others have only grammar, which you can practice downloading the file entitled "Exercise". All the exercises have keys so you will be able to check yourself.
Each video has a PDF file with the same information (though maybe slightly extended) including exercises and keys. You can download the file and revise the rules and words whenever you need. You can also do the exercises once again - it won't harm ;-)
The new words and dialogues have the sound, so you can hear how the word or phrase is pronounced in Russian. PDF files have the transcription for that purpose.
The videos do not contain any voice guidance or background music. It is done consciously in order not to distract you either with a foreign accent or with the melody you might not be fond of. The idea of silence is to help you focus on your studies.
