Hello! Welcome to my Doctoral Capstone Experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health Udemy course. My name is Hannah Clavell and I am a third-year entry-level doctoral occupational therapy student from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. Welcome to my Udemy course! I had the opportunity to complete my 14-week doctoral capstone experience at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. My doctoral capstone experience consisted of educating inpatient occupational therapy practitioners on trauma-informed care approaches in the inpatient behavioral health setting. Additionally, I provided staff with compassion fatigue and burnout education. This experience allowed me to grow in leadership, clinical skills, and ability to analyze literature.
