The content of this course is heavily based on Singapore’s National Curriculum which is the Primary Science Syllabus designed by Ministry of Education, (MOE). Hence, this course serves as a revision guide for students at the primary level who will be sitting for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). Having said that, this course is also suitable for learners all over the world, at the beginner level, who are curious about the diversity of things on Earth and are interested to learn how we can group them up based on their characteristics.

This course seeks to show the diversity of living things on Earth by focusing on the characteristics of many different groups. Only by knowing this variety of characteristics of different groups can we classify things into more meaningful groups and subgroups.

Through this course,

- you will be able to identify a living thing from a non-living thing

- you will be equipped with the process skill of classification

- you will gain in-depth knowledge on the different groups of animals and plants

- you will be taking a closer look at fungi and bacteria

- you will learn the strategy to approach and answer examination-style questions

This course includes talking head videos for a more connected experience for you and me, slides with key points for you to follow the flow as well as not miss out on important points and screencast of assignments to review and show you the strategy to tackle those questions that are taken from past-year examination papers.
