Google searches happen billions of times every day. In this course we discuss how Google search works and how SEO (Search Engine Optimization) plays a significant role in where a website shows up in Google’s search results.

We start with an overview of Google statistics and facts. Then we discuss what the ranking factors are that Google uses to place websites in the search results. From this we discuss how Google local search works. This then leads into a discussion of how Google places websites in the mobile search results.

We then delve into a conversation about how Social Media plays an important role in the way a website shows up in Google’s search results. Finally we tie it all together by discussing how to use Social Media to get you placed higher in Google search results.
