In this course we are going to focus on basic concepts of computational thinking through screen-free activities.

WHY COMPUTATIONAL THINKING?

Computational thinking will teach your child how to analyze a problem and find the best possible solution by

• breaking it down into small parts,

• identifying patterns,

• modeling the problem in a simpler way and

• assembling it all into an efficient solution

After taking this course you will be able to teach your kids key elements of computational thinking.

You will be able to give your children tools that will help them to develop their ability to solve problems.

Your little ones will be able to face a problem, see its parts and put it in order.

They will learn how to manage big problems by breaking them down into small, more manageable parts.

They will enhance their creativity by seeing that there is more than one solution to the problem.

They will work on reasoning and critical thinking skills and reinforce numerical and linguistic skills.

As parents we will provide the foundation for them to be future digital creators who will have the tools and capabilities to respond to changing environments.
