For those of you , who have attended my first course on Continuity and Differentiability, this course is a sequel. For those of you, who haven't, you will learn a lot of differentiation by just enrolling.

The course unravels with the Chain Rule and how it is used to calculate derivatives of composite functions.

Some of the problems discussed include finding the derivatives of sqrt((a^2-x^2)/(a^2+x^2)), sqrt((secx-1)/secx+1)), inverse secant of cosecx, finding the derivative of (1-sinx/1+cosx) at x = pi/2.

We then move to inverse trigonometric functions and how to differentiate them. The formulas of the derivatives of all the inverse trigonometric functions are given here. Some of the problems explained include- finding the derivative of inverse cos(sqrtx), inverse sinx+ inverse sin sqrt(1-x), inverse cos (1-2x^2), You will learn the need to simplify an inverse trigonometric function with a suitable substitution before finding the derivative.

The last session continues with derivatives of Inverse Trigonometric functions. You will learn more complex differentiation such as find the derivatives of tan inverse of x/a, cos inverse((sinx+cosx)/sqrt(2)). Lastly, you are introduced to Implicit Differentiation where you will learn to differentiate simple functions of the form x-y=pi, x^2/a^2+y^2/b^2=2016. The next course gives you an in depth study of Implicit Differentiation.
