This course is targeted towards graduates and post graduates in the field of biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, biotechnology, medical genetics and other professionals working in molecular biology areas. The course is a comprehensive course including mostly practical aspects in the molecular biology area. The course includes the requirements of setting up a molecular laboratory, the infrastructural requirements basic of unidirectional workflow and precautions that are required for avoiding contamination in molecular laboratory which is basic requirement for processing molecular testing. The course also includes good laboratory practices that are required to be followed in molecular laboratory. We have also included the different methods of nucleic acid extraction.
