In this course, I will show you how to separate a photo's subject from the background in Adobe Photoshop and create dynamic animation in Adobe Premiere and After Effects. The objective here is to bring your photos to life! So, rather than uploading a still photo to social media or your website, bring it to life and add some dynamic movement. This is a great way of standing out from the crowd and making your content pop.

You will need Adobe Photoshop and Premiere and/or After Effects. No previous editing experience is required, although a basic understanding of all three Adobe programs would help.

The course will start by briefly laying out what types of photo you want to avoid, then we will jump into Adobe Photoshop and use a combination of the quick selection tool, clone stamp tool and some clever editing to separate our subject and background, then we will jump into Adobe Premiere and demonstrate how keyframe animation can create a simple, yet impressive animation. I will then demonstrate how you can apply effects to each layer, before jumping into Adobe After Effects and demonstrating the same keyframe animation plus a great way of animating your subject, creating a more realistic, life-like animation, using the Puppet Pin Tool.
