This course has been designed for learners to study the different aspects of Hinduism. Learners will be able to study the concept of the soul, the concept of Reincarnation, the 4 Purusharthas, the 4 Ashramas and many other aspects like the 4 Vedas and so on. They will also learn that Hinduism is not a sect limited to itself but it is an open religion, technically called Sanatana Dharma(eternal religion). Hinduism is a way of life studied at secondary and tertiary levels in many countries. At higher stages, Hinduism is also known as Indian Philosophy. One can differentiate between Indian and Western Philosophy. In the former we are introduced to a quest or a search for truth. In the latter we find out the love for wisdom. Thus both philosophies are very useful in broadening our knowledge.

Moreover we are taught in Hinduism that there are 4 ages; they are Sat Yuga or golden age, Treta Yuga or Silver age, Dwapar Yuga or Copper age and Kali Yuga or Iron Age. it is said and believed by our ancient yet enlightened saints and sages that since the dawn of civilisation, people have been living a life without stress, anxiety and depression, In sat Yuga, everything in Nature was perfect, there were no diseases or evil minded persons. Gradually, when Treta Yuga, Dwapar Yuga and Kali Yuga made their apparitions, evilness started spreading everywhere and now in this Kali Yuga there are all types of mishap-endings that we cannot even imagine.
