This course focuses on dynamic analysis using finite element method. Academic background is first introduced to the following topics: Normal mode analysis, damping systems, transient response, and steady state response. Besides, the course provides tutorials to learn how to perform dynamic analysis professionally using Ansys software. As a prerequisite, the course requires knowing the basics of FEM andworking with Ansys static analysis module as a start. Slides are attached to the lectures for the student's convenience.
