DescriptionAcceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mental health counseling approach that centers around mindfulness skills and behavioral change to help practice nonjudgmental acceptance of difficult experiences and to move forward with values based action as a means to improve quality of life. There are 6 core processes to the ACTapproach, which includes Present Moment Awareness, Acceptance, Defusion, Self-As-Context, Values, and Committed Action . In this course, Iwill walk you through each of these elements with a 12-16 minute long meditation to help you expand your own self knowledge and cultivate psychological flexibility of the mind.
The ACT"Hexaflex"

Acceptance - turning attention towards difficult inner experiences in a safe and controlled way

These meditations can be downloaded to be listened to from anywhere and as many times as needed. While the meditations do build on one another, they do not necessarily need to be listened to in order. If you find yourself struggling with one thing in particular, such as finding perspective, or accepting a difficult thought, or taking action in a stressful situation - you can listen to whichever meditation you are called to to find valueable guidance.
