Hi my names Deborah and I’m a professional holistic and alternative treatment practitioner. I'm fully qualified in Aromatherapy, Body massage - Swedish techniques, and other modalities but also a Reiki master teacher. In this course we’ll be covering the basics of Aromatherapy that is vital for the safe use of essential oils for personal use.
I’ve some 3 decades now of working with essential oils, having enjoyed their many benefits for my own well-being, and sharing these with my family, friends and private clients in my private clinic. I’m the founder and owner of an holistic therapy training company and I teach using various media at events and conferences around the UK, which is suspended at the present time due to pandemic issues.
When I review my years of experience with essential oils I notice there are some essential oils I use most often and which are effective for various complaints. In this course I share some of these favourites and most useful essential oils. I also share some background information around aromatherapy to give you a sample flavour of Aromatic essential oils…
This information is valuable to enable you to use essential oils safely and effectively. If you have experience of essential oils this course may seem basic but for other students it is a great starting place. While my online courses include many recipes, balms butters and blends this course shares a simple massage blend that soothes calms and will ease sleep and lift the mood naturally without any harsh side effects. This is my favourite go to blend especially where I have been really busy and stress is running a riot!
This multimedia, distance learning course is a great starting point for the potential and budding Aromatherapist. However, it is also suitable for students with an interest in aromatherapy or those who work in beauty therapy and want to begin to learn and expand their knowledge of aromatherapy with a view to taking professional level study and provide clients Aromatherapy as part of their treatment menu.

-ESSENTIAL-TO-NOTE-
In order to practice as an Aromatherapist Massage therapist you will be required to have completed our introductory massage and professional body massage courses (the professional massage diploma is essential to Aromatherapy as this covers specific subjects such as consultation and contra-indications)
This is a great beginners course and allows students to move up to the next level of training in Aromatherapy as they move towards accessing professional qualified Aromatherapist training and education.
Learners do not require any prior qualifications to enrol on this home study course. But computer and English skills are essential, as too the motivation and interest to learn and complete the integrated activities.
