This course is explaining one of the main applications of Fintech that has been attracting interest lately i.e. Insurtech . Insurtech means insurance technology and is discussing the effect the technology has made on the insurance industry. Throughout the course, you'll get to know in detail about the role technology plays in the insurance industry and applications of the latest technologies like Artificial Intelligence Big data, and the internet of things it.

We'll start with the basics by having an overview of the insurance industry and its models, we'll then jump to insurtech and get to know more about insurtech companies, their categories, and what technologies they are using. We'll have time to talk about these technologies and explain them in detail. We’ll demonstrate examples of successful startups applying insurtech and understand their success drivers

Moving forward, we'll change course to the business side and talk about the different business models applied in insurtech , we'll have a thorough comparison of these business models where all aspects of these models will be covered.
