This is a nine-lesson course designed to teach students how to view organic chemistry molecules in three dimensions. Organic chemistry molecules in three-dimensional space is generally one of the more difficult concepts to master. Moreover, it is one of the first concepts you will learn in the course. Spending an hour or two really learning how molecules look and act in three dimensions will help with every aspect of organic chemistry, including (and most importantly) on exams. The course content starts with the most basic parts of organic chemistry then moves quickly to more advanced concepts.

The lesson topics include: An introduction to 3-D organic chemistry with dashes and wedges, the chemistry of nitrogen & oxygen, the chemistry of carbon, chirality, programs and energy diagrams, projections, rings, rings part 2, and SN1/SN2 reactions.

The quizzes in this course are multiple choice and designed to be the most likely questions you will see on your exams.
