Chapter -1 Chemical Reactions and Equations

In this chapter we will learn about chemical reactions, chemical equations, balancing of chemical equations, balancing of ionic equations, different types of chemical reactions, reactivity series of metals or activity series of metals, oxidation reduction reactions and effects of oxidation and reduction in every day life.

Chapter-2 Acid Bases and Salts

In this chapter we will learn about understanding acids, what do all acids have common, arrhenius concept of acids, classification of acids, properties of bases, behavior of bases in water, arrhenius concept of bases, neutralization of acids and bases, strength of acid and base solutions, pH scale, salts and crystallization.

Chapter-3 Metals and Non-Metals

In this chapter we will learn about positions of metals and non metals in the periodic table, metals and their characteristics, general properties of metals, electronic configurations of metals, comparing metals and non metals, physical properties of metals, non metals and their physical properties, electronic configurations of non metals,physical properties on non metals, chemical properties of metals, chemical properties of non metals, occurrence of metals, native an combined states of metals, minerals and ores, metallurgy, corrosion of metals, rusting of iron, alloys and amalgams
